China Airlines has inaugurated a daily flight service between Taichung and Okinawa, enhancing its Japan network and bringing the airline’s total weekly round-trip flights between Taiwan and Japan to over 170. This new connection is served by an Airbus A321neo aircraft. The outbound flight, CI310, departs from Taichung at 10:00 a.m. and reaches Okinawa by 12:40 p.m. The return flight, CI311, is scheduled to leave Okinawa at 1:40 p.m., landing back in Taichung by 2:10 p.m.
Further expanding its offerings, the airline is set to introduce a second daily service on August 13. This additional flight, CI312, will take off from Taichung at 3:20 p.m., arriving in Okinawa at 6:00 p.m. The corresponding return flight, CI313, will depart Okinawa at 7:00 p.m. and arrive in Taichung at 7:30 p.m. This expansion is expected to significantly boost the airline’s connectivity between the two regions.
With these new flights, along with existing services from Taipei and Kaohsiung, China Airlines will operate approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa weekly. This increase in frequency is poised to enhance travel options for passengers traveling for both business and leisure purposes.
The newly launched routes underscore China Airlines’ commitment to strengthening its presence in Japan, providing travelers with more flexibility and convenience. As the airline expands its network, it aims to facilitate smoother travel experiences between Taiwan and Japan, catering to the growing demand for cross-border journeys.
