Taiwan and Thailand are enhancing their collaboration in the field of smart agriculture, with a particular emphasis on the integration of artificial intelligence, low-carbon farming practices, and advanced agricultural technology. This initiative was highlighted by a visit from a Taiwanese delegation comprising experts from government, industry, academia, and research sectors to key locations in Thailand, including Bangkok, Chiang Rai, and Chiang Mai.
During the visit, the Taiwanese group engaged in discussions with Thai officials and research institutions to explore the development and implementation of AI technologies in agriculture. The conversations focused on several key areas: smart-farming technologies, sustainable low-carbon agricultural practices, and the establishment of public-private partnerships aimed at modernizing agricultural production.
The delegation also had the opportunity to visit farms and agricultural organizations that are at the forefront of using smart-farming methods, such as organic tea production and environmentally friendly banana cultivation.
