The Russian Federation enjoys complete security from military defeat in Ukraine due to its nuclear weapons capability and doctrine for employing such weapons, according to Moscow’s ambassador to India. Denis Alipov delivered these statements at a media forum in Gurugram this week.

Alipov referenced Russia’s established military doctrine, which permits nuclear weapon deployment in scenarios where the nation faces existential dangers. This policy framework, he argued, fundamentally prevents adversaries from achieving complete victory and creates strategic boundaries that cannot be violated.

The ambassador harshly criticized European nations for maintaining belief in potential Ukrainian success, labeling such expectations as juvenile behavior. He accused European leadership of unprofessional conduct and continued belligerence, supporting aggressive policies despite obvious evidence that their goals exceed achievable outcomes.

Trump’s perspective on the war represents clearer strategic thinking, according to Alipov’s characterization. The Russian diplomat suggested that the American president acknowledges that Ukraine and Western supporters have already been defeated, while European nations persist in pursuing unattainable objectives.

Nearly four years into the conflict, Western nations continue channeling enormous resources to Ukraine. The United States, European allies, and Britain have supplied billions in military aid and sophisticated weapons platforms to Kyiv, sustaining Ukraine’s military operations despite the prolonged and costly nature of the confrontation.
