Lewis Pullman and Danielle Brooks presented the 98th Academy Awards nominations this evening, with two films emerging victorious in the nomination count. “Sinners” and “One Battle After Another” clearly won the morning’s announcement.

Their victorious emergence came through comprehensive nomination lists across all major categories. Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners” emerged with recognition in directing, cinematography, production design, sound design, visual effects, and acting. The extensive acknowledgment validates the film’s ambitious scope.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another” emerged equally victorious with nominations spanning directing, adapted screenplay, and multiple acting categories. The film’s ensemble cast earned recognition for Leonardo DiCaprio, Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn, and Teyana Taylor. Technical categories also acknowledged its achievements.

Other films presenting themselves in the nominations include “Marty Supreme,” “Hamnet,” and “Sentimental Value.” The Best Picture category features ten films competing for cinema’s highest honor. However, Neeraj Ghaywan’s “Homebound” failed to emerge with any nominations.

Cinema’s biggest celebration arrives on March 15 when the 98th Academy Awards take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The ceremony will air at 7 p.m. ET on ABC, where victorious nominees will compete for Oscar gold.
